Avena Psychiatry is accepting commercial insurance plans including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna and Evernorth, Oscar Health, Oxford, and UnitedHealthcare UHC. We can also furnish a medical receipt, commonly known as a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement rates are contingent on your individual insurance plan and may fall within a range of 0-100%. At Avena Psychiatry, we strive to provide quality care and personalized service to all our clients. To maintain the efficiency of our practice and ensure availability for those in need, we have established the following policy regarding missed appointments and late cancellations.
Late Cancellation and No-Show Fee: To accommodate the scheduling needs of our clients and providers, we kindly request that any cancellations be made at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to cancel an appointment within this timeframe will result in a $50 "Late Cancellation" Fee. If a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification, they will incur a $100 "No-Show" Fee. This fee reflects the value of the missed session and helps us manage our schedule effectively.
How to Notify Us: To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us at (720) 796-4429 at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. Your cooperation in adhering to these policies allows us to better serve you and others who may be in need of our services.
Exceptions: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and exceptions to these fees may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a responsive and effective mental health practice.
As Avena Psychiatry offers telehealth, it is mandatory for all clients to furnish a valid credit card when registering to access our services. Avena Psychiatry retains the right to utilize the credit card details provided for settling any outstanding balances related to current client accounts. In the event that you, as the client, fail to attend a scheduled appointment ("No-Show") without providing a 48-hour notice for cancellation or rescheduling, Avena Psychiatry maintains the right to charge the credit card on file with a no-show and/or cancellation fee. A receipt documenting the transaction will be securely stored in your payment history.
